Alot of people figure, “I can read it, so it must be fine.”
I’m sorry to let you know, you do not make up the majority of users visiting your site, unless your website is on your localhost. Ideally you will want to have a line-height:1.5 or even line-height:2 in your element in CSS. Why? because the majority of people do have vision issues (we wear glasses and don’t wanna wear them, ’cause it feels uncool), and when you place things too closely (so that the l’s and y’s and g’s all have bits that are taller and shorter than the rest and falling into the next line), it tends to mesh too much and we get the issue of illegibility and people will leave your site soon thereafter. Especially if you’re using a dark background with light font sitting on top of it.
Just don’t do it, k?
line-height:1.5
line-height:2
Use them. They’re friendly.
Note to self : Work on theme so I don’t look like I’m a raving lunatic not applying my own advise.
